Lambdanetix

An AI-powered SaaS platform for
Fibre-optic Network Operators & Engineers

How it was built

Lambdanetix was designed and validated using Figma to mock up the User Interfaces before writing a single line of code.

The User Interfaces are written in C# using Avalonia and compiled for Android, Windows, Linux, and WebAssembly(WASM).

The Backend is mostly written in Python using Flask, Pony.ORM, and several custom libraries written in C++ for processing GIS and OTDR Data.

Summary

Lambdanetix is a platform I designed and developed to address critical issues in the management of fibre-optic networks.

Simplifying Planning, Construction, Maintenance, Testing, and Inventory Management.

The first iteration is currently in user acceptance testing with Wyre (a subsidiary of Liberty Global). It is central to their plans for testing and validating their deployment rollout to 3.5 million homes. Without Lambdanetix, Wyre would need a team of 10 engineers to take around a year to validate each fibre’s OTDR tests against the design.
